A while back I was contacted by the inventors of Soapsox. They were trying to get the word out about their adorable little invention and the Kickstarter Campaign.
Founder, Ray Phillips came up with the idea of making bathtime fun while working in a residential treatment facility for abused children. One of the children, attached to a favorite stuffed animal, would not part with him for a bath, and Soapsox was born.
Soapsox are adorable animals that have an inner pocket to hold a bar of soap, or a squirt of body wash.
Each Soapsox character is made from a soft terrycloth exterior and a porous sponge interrior. Bars of soap or squirts of bodywash can be placed in the Soapsox character through the opening in the mouth, a fun way to entertain the kids with their favorite animal “eating” the soap.
Dunk your favorite character into the water and squeese to work up a lather. Finger pockets are built into each character either in their front feet or fins for better handling and extra scrubbing power.
My favorite feature about the Soapsox, they’re washable. Since my kids quickly became attached to the characters, they didn’t want to put them in the bath. Upon first scrub in the tub, they were immediately washed, dried on the gentle cycle and back in bed with the kiddos for a good nights sleep.

Based on his work in the residential treatment facility, Ray felt it was important to “give back”. Now, a portion of the proceeds of each Soapsox goes to providing safe places for children in our community. I love that he continues to support kids in need daily!
